After our lunch the grand children went for green coconut water, bigger bros take care of the smaller bros, cousin bros n sister..

On 23rd March travelling the North South highway via Rawang town on the way to Fraser hill resort, stopping at KKB for lunch.

KKB town still the same old town, no traffic jam, just about 4 streets with about 10 shops on each side, fourty years ago the middle section of the street are tall trees, now are small trees maybe old one axed and these are palnted  a few years.. 

 

This eating shop located just opposite the pos office, a row of a10 shops all for foods, parking no problem, but we prefer to park next to the parking lots where it is very shady due old tall trees..

 

 

PANCAKE

This PJ pancake come from Petaling Jaya to OUG wet market twice a week, taste very good when it is still hot from the pan, last the price was 80 cts per piece, this 2013 price up to RM1 per piece like so many other foods but the disapointing part was it is smaller by 25%...

This pancake maker a young man, last year his stall crowded wiht customers waiting for the hot pancake, now it is no the same it is pancake waiting for customers..

after a few minutes heated up peanuts were spread over the pancake before putting the cover to cook.

 

 

Hope on Wheels

Every Wednesday a van call the Hope on wheels providing free basci health check for any people who are interestd to know their blood presure, blood sugar level etc. 

 

A staff who provide some basic advise base on the result and if neccessary advise you to for a hospital check up..

 

Any one can trace back their previous blood pressure n blood sugar level record from the data store in their note book.

 

 

Chinese New Year Nian Guo

Nian Guo are left over from Chinese new Year as it is only tasty after frying with sweet potatoes, in the first instant when new it is sticky and cannot cut into slices for eating or frying..

Sweet potatoes and yam slices could use together to offer 2 taste a one go, just sandwhich one slice of nian guo with 2 slices of sweet potatoes dip into ready mix flour then it is into the wok of hot oil..

Best to eat it while it is still warm but not hot...

Waldorf Astoria New York

This great master clock at the main lobby of Waldorf Astoria hotel, I was staying in this famous 5 star hotel for 3 nites, the chimes rings sound so sweet and pleasant to listen, so when ever I am waiting for Kelly to come I prefer to come down early at the lobby, get a nice seat to relax n wait for chimes rings sound.
