Sweet Sour Pork Ribs

This is a popular dish at home frequently request from grand sons who love this dish, it is fingers licking, quite easy to prepare n cook.

You need 2 table spoon rice wine ( China), 5 table spoon vinegar,2 table spoon light soya sauce, 1 table spoon black soya sauce and 2 table spoon brwon cane sugar..

 

 

Mix all the soya sauce, rice wine, vinegar sugar and stirrr..

Next put into the pork ribs and mix well and let it settle for an hour ( best to use free run pig pork ribs and organic soya souace etc.)

 

 

Use low fire to fried for 45-60 minutes, some fire heat are greater as such only need 45 minutes..

 

Glutinous Rice Dumpling

Dumpling Festivals fall on the 5th day 5th lunar month it is over but as usual  a  few bundle of raw dumpling was store in the frid so that whole family can still enjoy eating...

I never fail to brew raw puer tea when eating 1-3 pieces of glutious rice dumpling, tis should be very helpful for digestion..

 

Glutinous Rice Dumpling

Chung Festivals on 5th day of 5th lunar month, it is day for eating chung or dumpling, however due to the time taken to make glutinous rice dumpling, all ingredients must be prepare 2-3 days in advance..

 

 

Wraooing th ingredients wiht 2 bamboo leaves which was boil for hours n soak again in water overnight to soften the bamboo leaves,,

Soft flexi bamboo leaves easy fold, wrap up wiht ingredients and tight wiht straw. 

raw dumpling ready for boiling for at least 3 hours..

 

Palace of the Golden Horse

The owner of the hotel love horses so he name his 5 star hotel Palace of the Golden Horse and you see many statues of the horse both in n outside the hotel.

 

 

Treasure on top Melawati Hill

Rotary Club P.J. motoring treasure hunt give us the opportunity to travel around Ulu Langat n Kuala Selangor districts hunting for treasures, in order to win we need to successfully hunt for the treasure base on the clues given..
One of the treasure is Miss Melawati hahaha so easdy to spot her from the group of tourists up there..

The second treasure to hunt is inside the museum, so we are in there reading and enjoying the cool air condition as well..

Bentong Town

The common route taken to retrun from Fraser Hill, nornally via Kuala kubu Bharu and North South Highway back to kuala lumpur. However this time we decided to return via Raub/ Bentong town by pass Raub town, straight to Bentong for lunch. 

Original intention to try another restaurant famous for fish balls etc but it was close on Monday, so decided to try out on this Golden court, well the foods turn out to be good with friendly captian knowing we r from K.L. FOC a plate of fruits.
