Famosa Chicken Rice

We decided to try out this chicken rice shop instead of the other 2 shops because it is most the most beautiful of all the 15th century houses now 90% turn into shops.

Siew Lin n Chris waiting for the chicken rice, it took about more than 20 minutes, while I decided to have a closer look of the preparation of chicken rice balls, those older days in a smaller shop the chicken rice are roll by hand while it is still warm..

NOW WITH MACHINE ROLLING AT STAGE ONE, FOLLOW BY HAND ROLL THE RICE BALL ARE COLD NO MORE TENDER WITH CHICKEN AROMA, THE TASTE JUST POOR, THE CHICKEN MST BE SERVE WHEN IT IS STILL WARM..

WE ORDER FREE HALF FREE RUN CHICKEN BUT THIS NOT THE REAL FREE RUN CHICKENS BUT JUST CHICKENS REAR IN ENCLOSURE INSTEAD OF CAGES..

SPICY OTAK CAKE TASTE WAS NOT GOOD, FISH BALLS MAYBE CONTAIN 90% FLOUR INSTEAD OF FISH...

TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS KIND OF CHICKEN RICE IN JONKER STREET, IY IS SUPPOSE TO BE WORLD FAMOUS, I PITY THE OVERSEAS AND LOCAL TOURISTS WHO COME FOR THE WORLD FAMOUS CHICKEN RICE...

THE ONLY GOOD THING ABOUT THIS SHOP IS THE INTERIOR DECORATION OF AN 15TH CENTURY HOUSE WELL PRESERVE AND USE AS RESTAURANT...
